- Darkness: 20–25% (wax/resin), 25–30% (resin)
- Speed: 400–600mm/s (wax/resin), 200–400mm/s (resin)
- Edge Printers (Standard):
- Darkness: 18–22% (wax/resin), 22–26% (resin)
- Speed: 100–300mm/s
⚠️ Important: Near edge ribbon must be used with near edge printheads. Using flat/edge ribbon on near edge printers will result in poor transfer and premature printhead wear. If unsure about your printer type, <u>contact our technical support</u>.

2. Width & length selection
- Width: Choose ribbon width that matches or slightly exceeds the print width.
- Length: 300m for small/medium volume; 450m for standard industrial use; 600m for high‑volume automated lines.
- Core: 1 inch core standard for all TTO systems.
3. Food contact compliance
- All our near edge ribbons are FDA-compliant for indirect food contact.
- For direct food contact, please specify – we offer specialised grades.
