Key Features
- Oil & chemical resistant – Withstands contact with oils, greases, and mild solvents without smearing or losing adhesion.
- Scratch & abrasion resistant – PET face stock protects barcode and text from daily handling, conveyor wear, and equipment cleaning.
- Wide temperature tolerance – Remains stable from -20°C to +120°C, suitable for cold storage and warm production lines.
- High print definition – Smooth coating enables sharp barcodes, small fonts, and graphics with thermal transfer ribbons.
- Permanent adhesion – High‑tack acrylic adhesive bonds to low‑surface‑energy plastics, metals, cardboard, and painted surfaces.
- Eco‑friendly options – RoHS, REACH, and halogen‑free compliant; recyclable liner available.
Applications
- Asset tracking & equipment ID – Labels on machinery, tools, and IT assets that need durable barcodes.
- Electronics & components – Product labels on laptops, servers, and electronic housings (not for reflow soldering – use PI label for that).
- Logistics & warehousing – Shipping labels on plastic totes, metal racks, and reusable containers.
- Laboratory & pharmaceutical – Labels for reagent bottles, sample vials, and medical devices that must resist alcohol wipes.
- Automotive parts – Under‑hood components (non‑extreme heat areas) and part identification.
For extreme high‑heat (reflow soldering) or aggressive solvent exposure, use our PI label or Chemical Resistant Label.
Printer & Ribbon Compatibility
Recommended ribbons:
- Wax/Resin (semi‑synthetic) – Good balance of cost and durability for most indoor applications.
- Resin – Required for high chemical or scratch resistance, outdoor use, or high‑temperature exposure.
- Wax – Suitable for short‑term indoor labels on paper; not recommended for PET.
Compatible printers:
Printer settings suggestion:
- Darkness: 20–25% for wax/resin, 25–30% for resin
- Speed: 4–6 inches per second (ips) for optimal print quality
💡 Tip: For best adhesion on oily or rough surfaces, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying the label.
How to Choose the Right Label Size & Quantity
- Size: We offer custom die‑cut sizes – specify width, height, and corner radius (square or rounded).
- Roll length: Standard rolls from 500 to 2000 labels per roll. Larger quantities reduce cost per label.
- Core: 1 inch core fits most industrial printers; 3 inch core for high‑capacity printers.
- Orientation: Labels wound inside‑ or outside‑out – we match your printer’s requirement.
Ordering & Sample Information
- MOQ: 50 roll for standard sizes (custom shapes require MOQ 100 rolls).
- Free sample: 5–10 pieces available for testing. Request with your printer model, ribbon type, and application details.
- Custom printing: Logo, text, or sequential barcodes available – MOQ 1000 pcs.
- Lead time:
