Printer & Ribbon Compatibility

Recommended ribbons:

Resin ribbon – Best for maximum scratch and chemical resistance.

Wax/Resin (semi‑synthetic) – Acceptable for indoor use; lower cost.

Wax – Not recommended – will smear easily on PVC surface.

Compatible printers:

Most industrial and desktop thermal transfer printers from Zebra, Honeywell, Sato, TSC, Citizen.

Printer settings suggestion:

Darkness: 20–25% for wax/resin, 25–28% for resin

Speed: 3–5 inches per second (ips)

💡 Tip: PVC is a soft material – avoid excessive printhead pressure to prevent indentations on the label surface.
